Arithmetic to calculus
Mathematics tutoring, one to one.
Number sense, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics and calculus — built on understanding, not memorisation.
What we cover
Place value and arithmetic, fractions and decimals, pre-algebra, algebra I and II, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, calculus, statistics and probability. For adult learners we also cover quantitative reasoning and numeracy for work or entrance tests.
How sessions run
Every session starts from a problem the student has actually met — homework, a past paper, or a topic that did not land in class. We work the problem, then step back to the rule underneath it, then practise it on a fresh example.
Common goals
Catching up after a gap, preparing for an exam, raising a grade, or building enough confidence to take the next course.
What every plan includes
- Diagnostic first session
- Worked examples, then independent practice
- Parent update after each block of four sessions
- Free first assessment lesson
- Sessions scheduled around your timetable
